Decent fish n chips, £15.50 for fish, chips, curry, bread n butter and a mug of tea, about standard price for eating in now, well worth it, the fish was done perfectly in a light batter. The restaurant is nice inside with a big fish tank in the middle. Service was quick, toilets nice and clean.

The best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted - even my daughter who dislikes fish as a rule said that my battered haddock was nice! Lovely service too, and the prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed sitting next to the fish tank and watching the fish swim about. Highly recommended!

There are not many places to me that will rival my fav fish shop in Whitby BUT this one does. The fish was beautiful cooked in a fabulous batter . Chips just cooked to perfection. Service was quick friendly and always with a smile. Cannot recommend this place enough. We WILL be back

Really nice place and lovely staff. We got seated really quickly after a short wait at the benches across the road. Fish was the nicest I’ve had for a long time. Only slight comment that it would be nice to offer a smaller portion as they are huge!

Might be the best fish and chips that I can remember having. Haddock that was crispy and very well battered without being greasy, and chips that were proper old-fashioned ones, nothing fancy but done absolutely right.

When we arrived it had great atmosphere and staff when we sat down the chairs were very comfortable and tables were clean food was absolutely delicious if you don’t have a big appetite the kids meals were big enough for us 😁😁😁

Wow the chips just melt in ur mouth, must be top quality spuds, we had Sausage, chips and Curry sauce, a mug of tea and a bottle of water, the sausage was the usual chippy jumbo sausage- but better, I dont know how but again, crispy batter, just melted after the crunch, and the sausage was a Richmond style, cooked to perfection, the curry sauce again was chippy style, as expected but just better than others ive had, the service was friendly, and nothing too much bother, they brought a bowl of water for the dog, yes dog friendly as well, the sit-in reseraunt was clean and tidy and didnt feel cramped at all, nothing seemed a problem for the staff as they acommodated a couple of groups of 5 and 7.
10 out of 10 highly recommended.
